Volunteers Needed!!

Our semi-annual FCC clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, 2 May and volunteers are needed. We anticipate the project running from 9am thru 1pm with a pizza lunch arriving around 11:30.

The tasks aren’t entirely physical nor do they all require special skills to complete. Dave Burkle (540-926-6982) will coordinate the project and he asks that you RSVP your participation with him so that projects can be better managed and/ or aligned with an individual’s skill sets.

He’s looking for volunteers to complete the following tasks:

Seed and cover with hay the leveled dirt piles in side yard

W**d front flower beds and beds in front of fellowship hall. Also cut vine growing up building.

Repair Ceiling in Cloak Room

Repair Ceiling in Baptistry.

Clean baptistry glass.

Replace overhead Lights in Kitchen

Clean communion table.

Dust and clean choir area

Trim Bushes in front of church and fellowship hall. Bag clippings

Install Office Door Camera

Install double outlet and land electrical run to breaker panel for two microwaves in kitchen.

Wash narthex windows

Clean nursery

Dust and clean all pews

Set-up bounce house

Set-up grill and clean it.

Wash Fellowship Hall front doors and windows

There’s definitely a job for everyone in our church.

Please come and volunteer your time. In fact, you don’t even need to commit to the entire 4 hours. Complete your job and eat and then go. The key to making this successful is to RSVP with Dave so that he can ensure the completion of the tasks.

Easter may be over, but the celebration continues. There will be no online service, worship will take place in the fellowship hall after the Post-Easter Brunch.
