..."Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father, But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows." Matthew 10:29- 31

Our Father who is in heaven values us as individuals and as family...as individuals we are more valuable than many sparrows. Not one sparrow in comparission, but many. As I get older I lose hair, but yet all my hairs on my head He knows. As brothers and sisters(family) in Christ our Lord, Our Father knows us and loves us beyond what can be imagined and we should not be afraid to confess who He is before men.

My Hero

This morning I woke up thinking about some of the posts that I have been seeing in my news feed lately. People are talking about hero's from Batman to Iron Man to dogs from 911. One person referred to himself as his own hero.
My hero is my husband. A man that can't leap tall buildings, catch bad guys or rescue hundreds from a burning building, but can pull himself out of bed exhausted from battling seasonal allergies and working multiple jobs. He comes home from work and begins helping me with the battles that I have failed to win throughout the day. Building my strength and giving me rest when he has yet to have his own down time. My husband never complains about the work even though my list of complaints is endless. He always tries to help when I am overwhelmed with life. My hero never wants recognition for all that he does for the family and maybe that is his disguise. He looks like your typical husband. To me I know his super power.

So often we think of love as a feeling when it's really a choice.
