Wonder Valley Christian Camp WVCC is located 8 miles NW of Salem nestled in the beautiful wooded hills, creeks, and waterfalls of southern Indiana. Check us out at wondervalleycamp.com.

WVCC seeks to teach young people about Jesus' love and encourage and train them to serve Him. Wonder Valley Christian Camp had it's first camp season in June of 1946. In it's 65+ years of serving the youth of Southern Indiana, WVCC exists to teach young people about Jesus and his love. Each week of camp is designed to challenge and encourage young people spiritually in their walk with Christ, ment

ally in their knowledge of the Word of God and physically through team and individual challenges. Those interested in attending a week during the 2012 summer camp season are encouraged to get more info and register at wondervalleycamp.com. We have some big news for our annual Women's Weekend Retreat! Due to the growing popularity of this event, we are offering two different dates to choose from. Last year we were almost at capacity. So this year, we're offering 2 identical events, on back-to-back weekends. This will make it easier to coordinate space, food, activities and bottom bunks!
We are currently working hard to get our online registration set up. But in the meantime:
1.) Call your friends
2.) Figure out what weekend works best for you
3.) Mark your calendar
4.) Watch for our announcement when registration is open!

One last week in the books at Wonder Valley this summer. 🌲☀️

So many pictures but they're all worth looking at!

This week was full of adventures, worship, laughter, muddy shoes, late-night cabin talks, new friendships, and moments we'll never forget. But more than anything, we watched God move. We witnessed 15 students give their lives to Jesus and were baptized. 6 more will go back to their home churches in the coming weeks and be baptized! We had a large number of students also rededicate their lives to Jesus, submitting to live for Him!

Our prayer is that what started at camp doesn't stay at camp, that every camper goes home knowing Jesus a little more, loving Him a little deeper, and boldly living out their faith.

Thank you to Graham Jones and Tom Bostic for deaning and leading this special group! Thank you to every camper, volunteer, faculty member, and staff member who made this week possible. You are what makes Wonder Valley so special.

Meet Ryan Matlock!
Ryan joined us this summer as summer staff for the first time!
A few fun facts about Ryan:
• Ryan loved board games and knows how to do a lot of card tricks!
• Favorite thing about camp: JESUS and the people he got to work with.
• Favorite Bible verse: Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink and enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he toils under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward. ‭‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭5‬‬:‭18
• Fun Fact: Ryan had never been to camp before joining us as summer staff!
We are so thankful Ryan was on staff this summer and can’t wait to see how God works through him after camp! 🌟

Meet Chloe Mathis!
Chloe returned this summer as summer staff, helping especially in the kitchen for her second year working at the valley!
A few fun facts about Chloe:
• Chloe took an online summer class and was up late most nights reading and working on her studies while never complaining about being tired!
• Favorite thing about camp: the community of people
• Favorite Bible verse: Isaiah 43:1-4 ““But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.” ‭‭
• Fun Fact: Chloe is a senior nursing student at Cedarville University in Ohio and is planning on going into Maternity or ER.
• Favorite memory this summer: Randomly being given two kittens in one day or playing Jenga with the summer staff!
We are so thankful Chloe was on staff again this summer and can’t wait to see how God works through her after camp! 🌟

Meet Ezra Yoder!
Ezra is returning this summer as summer staff for his second year working at the valley!
A few fun facts about Ezra:
• Ezra is a rock star in the dish room and a hard worker!
• Favorite thing about camp: People that respect each other and encourage each other to follow Jesus better
• Favorite Bible verse: 2 Timothy 1:7 "For the spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."
• Fun Fact: Ezra loves Ale 8 and cars, he even built an RC Car recently!
• Favorite memory this summer: Ziplining and getting to spend time outside!
We are so thankful Ezra was on staff again this summer and can’t wait to see how God works through him after camp! 🌟
