What an awesome weekend! We got to celebrate 16 lives changed forever! There's something special about getting baptized in the river and we love that we get to do this every year!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our new brothers and sisters in Christ as they show the world that they belong to Jesus!

What does it mean to truly live out the purpose God has placed on our lives? Pastor Hilton takes us deep into the heart of calling -- not just as a concept reserved for pastors and missionaries, but as a living, breathing reality for every one of us. Calling is not a single destination but a progressive journey, one that God unfolds step by step as we walk in faith. We find in 2 Corinthians 5:7 that we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. We need to stop waiting for perfect clarity before we step forward, and instead to begin seeking God diligently, trusting that He will illuminate the path as we go. Our calling is bigger than us, it exists to bless others and bring glory to God, and it is active right now, not at some future point when conditions feel more favorable.

We are excited to kick off our Band of Brother's Men's Bible Study led by Pastor Hilton, Next Wednesday (September 9th) at 6:15 in Room 308, take a left at the top of the stairs and you're right there!
This is for all of you men who want a place to dive deeper during the week than just Sunday mornings! We want you to join us as we start into a brand new study, Men of the Bible: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!

We tend to reserve the word 'calling' for pastors, missionaries, and evangelists, but Scripture tells a very different story. The Bible makes it very clear that every believer has been chosen, named, and commissioned by God for a purpose that was set in motion before we were even born. We are not accidental. We are not filler. We are, as Ephesians 2:10 describes, God's workmanship, created for good works that He prepared in advance for us to walk in. The nurse, the teacher, the factory worker, the business owner, the sanitation engineer -- each one carries a holy calling just as significant as any pulpit ministry. Pastor Hilton challenges us to stop waiting for a grand invitation and start recognizing the divine assignment already in front of us, because the call of God is not always loud. Sometimes it sounds like a conversation in a checkout line, a moment of grace with a coworker, or simply showing up and doing our work with excellence and integrity.

TeamKid kicks off at 6:15pm with an extra messy and fun evening (bring your child a swimsuit or an extra set of clothes)
Amplify Youth starts at 7:00pm in the Youth Room in the ROC!
And starting tonight Common Ground Coffee Shop will be open to serve volunteers and anyone coming to Bible Study (don’t worry Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies are coming back soon!)
