This Sunday we looked at King David's final words to his son Solomon. We learned that we need to leave a legacy that matters. And if we want to leave a lasting legacy, we need to start now, we need to teach our kids and model it, we need to live a well examined life, and that when we fail, we can live in God's grace. There were many that responded to the sermon through prayer, and we also were able to celebrate a life being committed to Christ.

On Sunday, Pastor Erick Sessions taught us that we should pursue God's presence. We do that by preparing for it through studying God's word. We do that by seeking him out, and when we have moments of failure, we rest in God's grace and seek him with perseverance. And when we experience the presence of God in the right way, it leads us to rejoice in His presence.

Day 3 at VBS was busy, crazy, and lots of fun. This week has been incredible, can't wait to see what happens the rest of the week.

Day 2 of VBS has come to a close. We learned that Jesus is God's Perfect Son. It was a wonderful day. Looking forward to the rest of the week. If you are in the Salem Indiana area and have an elementary age kiddo, we still have room. See you guys at 9:00am tomorrow.
