Last week, our founding pastor, Rev. Ralph Trask, conducted a memorial service at Free Church for Don Warden, a longtime member who played a part in building our church during its early years in the 1980s and ’90s.

We were honored to host the service and celebrate the life of a faithful husband, father, grandfather, and Marine who served our country during the Vietnam War.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Don’s family and loved ones as they remember and celebrate his life.

Last week, some of our leaders got to attend and participate in a prayer gathering for the launch of the Road 2 Hope Maternity Home in Turner, Oregon (Salem area). We are proud to have Jon and Steph Souliere as a part of our Free Church family, and are praying for them as they prepare to launch this vital ministry in our area. Our church recently suffered a great loss in the passing of Darren Taylor.
Darren served on our worship team, in facilities, as a Home Group leader, and an elder. But the most important role he served in was “FRIEND.” Darren was a dear friend to so many of us.
He was kind, strong, humorous, faithful, gentle, and very wise.
Free Church offers our deepest condolences to Darren’s amazing wife Tami, their daughters, son-in-laws, and grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Darren on Saturday, September 26th at 11am at Free Church.
