Happy New Year, Valley Church! We wrapped up 2021 together the Sunday before Christmas, and it was truly such a special gathering.

We are so grateful for God’s faithfulness through another year, and we are so so thankful for each of you who are a part of our Valley family.

We’re heading into 2022 with anticipation and readiness for what God might do among us!

Tonight is our final service together before Christmas, join us at 5pm! This is the fourth week of our Advent series, and we’ll even get to have a portion of our gathering by candle light 🕯. . . Its going to be a special night together!

⭐️Valley Kids classes will be open for babies - 5th grade!

⭐️Next Sunday, 12/26 we will gather as usual at 5pm but we’ll have a more intimate version of our regular service and meet in the Fireside Room instead of the sanctuary.

YOU’RE INVITED. . . Join us this Sunday, December 19th at 5pm for our “Sunday before Christmas” service at Valley.

Since we don’t have a Christmas Eve service, this IS our Christmas service for our church family. And for the first time ever, we’ll have a candlelight portion of our gathering that is going to be really special 🕯

Valley Kids classes will be open this Sunday so bring your families! Can’t wait to celebrate Christmas week with you!

This past Sunday marked TWO YEARS since started meeting at Calvary Baptist Church!

We want to invite you to join us for a special anniversary celebration on October 17th!

Like most churches during the pandemic, typically only 30-50% of our church attends on any given Sunday. Which means that many of you haven’t seen or met some other key people in our Valley family!

SO we have this dream that our WHOLE church would clear your calendars and come celebrate this anniversary with us! We’ll have a shortened church service, some baby dedications, baptisms, and then share a meal together! If you consider yourself a part of Valley Church, would you join us?

The past two years have been a wild ride for this new church plant of ours, but GOD has been faithful and so many of YOU have been so faithful, and we have so much to celebrate.

So save the date, see you then! And see you at church this Sunday as usual, too!

Here are a few “good-to-knows” for our Valley Church family for the week of September 19th!

➡️Tonight we continue our fall vision series and we’re talking about what it means to be a church family! Don’t miss this one!

➡️Valley Kids classes are OPEN tonight for babies-5th grade! We currently offer VC Kids classes on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month.

➡️On that note, the MAIN way we need more help to make our weekly church gathering happen is in our kids classes. We really want to be able to have classes open every week, but we currently do not have enough volunteers. Even if you don’t have experience in children’s ministry but are willing to help and could serve even once every six weeks, we’ll train you and give you everything you need to serve our Valley Kids!

Happy Sunday friends! We know summer has been crazy and busy for many of you, so if you’ve had to miss church the past few weeks, you can still catch up on the sermons!

We’ve been privileged to have some incredible teachings on the book of Matthew this month, from a variety of teachers! They are all available on our Valley Church podcast - head to the link in our bio to find them!

Of course, nothing compares to gathering and listening and worshiping together in person, so join us tonight at 5pm @ Calvary Baptist! See you tonight!

Hey Valley Church! As you know, tomorrow will be HOT! Our usual gathering place in the sanctuary will likely be too warm by our 5pm gathering, so here is our plan for tomorrow night 👇🏼

We’ll have our gathering *downstairs* @ Calvary Baptist in the fellowship room/ basement, which will be nice and cool! We’ll have ice cream bars and cold water, so bring the whole fam and join us as we gather around the teachings of Jesus and worship together!

*there will be no Valley Kids tomorrow night, but we want to encourage you to come with your families anyway! There are plenty of places downstairs for kiddos to get their wiggles out during service if they need to!

Our pastors and their wives got to spend part of this week at a leadership retreat with other church leaders from around the west coast!

Michael & Kristin and Marc & Krysten are returning to this weekend encouraged and excited about continuing to serve and lead our church family in the way of Jesus!

📢VOLUNTEERS NEEDED📢

We shared about this last night at church, but in case you missed it, we’re sharing here too! We are SO thankful to have so many young families and kiddos at right now! But currently we are only able to open up our kids classes two Sundays per month because we do not have enough volunteers. We would really like to move toward having kids classes open weekly, but we simply need more help!

This is where you come in! Could you volunteer in a kids class on a Sunday night for about 1 hour every 5-6 weeks? You don’t have to be an expert in children’s ministry, but if you have a heart to serve in a practical way, this is THE main way our church family needs help right now!
