Just 2 Weeks Until Our 100th Anniversary Celebration Weekend!

For 100 years, Fort Lewis Christian Church has been more than a building—it has been a place where lives have been changed, faith has been strengthened, friendships have been formed, and generations have gathered to worship God.

As we prepare to celebrate this special milestone, we invite you to come home, reconnect with old friends, make new memories, and help us give thanks for a century of ministry. Whether you've been part of our church family for decades, attended years ago, or are visiting for the very first time, we'd love for you to join us.

Come celebrate, worship, and fellowship with us during this memorable weekend as we honor our past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future God has in store.

**Don't forget to RSVP by Wednesday if you plan to stay for the catered luncheon on Sunday - June 14. We hope that you do stay for the great fellowship and great food from Mrs. B's Restaurant in Buchanan.

There's a place for you here—and we'll save you a seat.

For 100 years, these walls have witnessed so much more than Sunday services.

They’ve seen brides walk down the aisle and couples promise forever.
They’ve welcomed babies into the family of faith through dedication and baptism.
They’ve heard the laughter of children in Sunday School halls and the joyful noise of Vacation Bible School summers.

These rooms have held prayer meetings, choir practices, potluck dinners, youth events, revivals, funerals, celebrations, and quiet moments when someone simply needed a place to pray.

Generations have gathered here to worship, to serve, to grieve, to grow, and to give thanks together.

Lives have changed here.
Friendships have been formed here.
Faith has been strengthened here.

As we celebrate 100 years, we honor every person, every family, every prayer, and every memory that helped shape the story of Fort Lewis Christian Church.

And by God’s grace, the story is still being written.

❤️ Faithful through the years.
💛 Loving our community.
✝️ Looking ahead with hope.

Happy Memorial Day

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the importance of faith, courage, and unity.

As we gather with family and friends, may we also pause in gratitude for those who made these moments possible. 🇺🇸

The Church Has Always Been Its People

For 100 years, Fort Lewis Christian Church has been more than a building — it has been a church family.

Through worship, fellowship, service, prayer, celebrations, and life’s hardest moments, generations of people have helped shape the story of FLCC.

As we prepare to celebrate our centennial anniversary, we’re thankful for every person who has been part of the journey. 💛

Before It Was Our Fellowship Hall…
This Was Our Sanctuary

Before it became our fellowship hall, this building served as the sanctuary for Fort Lewis Christian Church — a place where generations gathered for worship, prayer, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and countless memories through the years. 💛

The cornerstone, placed in 1927, still reminds us of the faithful foundation that has carried our church through the decades.

As we prepare to celebrate 100 years of ministry and community, we’d love to hear your memories. Do you remember worshiping here? Share your favorite memory in the comments below!

🩸 One of the many ways Fort Lewis Christian Church seeks to serve our community is through outreach that truly helps save lives.

We invite you to join us for our upcoming blood drive with the American Red Cross on Monday, June 1 from 1:00–6:00 PM in our Fellowship Hall. Every donation can make a difference for someone in need — and it’s a simple way to show love and care for our neighbors. ❤️

As we celebrate 100 years of being a faithful presence in our community, we’re thankful for opportunities like this to continue giving back and supporting others.
