Today, we remember the lives lost to war.
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the start of summer. It is a day marked by grief, sacrifice, empty chairs, folded flags, and families forever changed. We pause to honor those who died serving their country, and we hold close the weight of that loss.
As people of faith, we also pray for a world where fewer lives are claimed by violence, where peace is pursued with courage, and where every human life is treated as sacred. We give thanks for those who served, we mourn those who never came home, and we pray for all who carry the wounds of war, both visible and invisible.
May we be people who remember well, and love deeply.

Snacks and treats could never match the love and effort you pour into your students… but we hope they remind you how valued you are. 💛
To every staff member at the Roberts High School, Middle School, and GED campuses, thank you for the unseen moments, the second chances, the encouragement, and the grace you give so freely.

We celebrated Earth Day in the best way, together!!

Because of you, we were able to collect and recycle 462 pounds of electronics right here at church. That’s 462 pounds kept out of landfills and given a second life.
Thank you for showing up, cleaning out your homes, and caring for creation in such a tangible way. This is what it looks like to be a community that lives out love beyond our walls.

Easter.
A reminder that even when things feel finished, they might just be beginning.
That what looks like loss, grief, or silence is not the end of the story.
Easter is not just about celebration. It is about the quiet, steady truth that life finds a way to rise again. That hope can exist alongside doubt. That light does not erase the darkness but meets us in it.
Maybe today feels joyful.
Maybe it feels complicated.
Maybe it feels like just another day.
Wherever you find yourself, Easter meets you there.
Because resurrection is not just something that happened. It is something that keeps happening, in small ways, in ordinary lives, in moments we almost miss.
And that is good news.
He is risen.

It is finished.

Good Friday • Tonight at 5:30 pm
Join us tonight as we gather for Good Friday, a service that invites us to slow down and sit in the weight of the story. This year, we reflect on the theme Someone’s Baby, remembering that Jesus was deeply loved, held, and cared for, just like so many in our world today. Together, we’ll hold space for grief, for honesty, and for the reality that before resurrection comes the
in-between.
