Invites U.S. Saints to Participate in a United Fast of Gratitude for Religious Liberty

The fast is scheduled for Sunday, July 5, 2026

As the United States celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wrote a letter inviting all to participate in a unified fast.

“All are invited to participate in a unified fast to express gratitude for religious liberty and to pray that it be strengthened throughout the world,” wrote President Dallin H. Oaks and his counselors, President Henry B. Eyring and President D. Todd Christofferson.

Join us from 5:00 pm Friday evening to 5:00 pm Sunday evening for fun and spirit filled days.

Hosted by the Seattle coordinating council.

Join us for the incredible "In God We Trust" Seattle Area Single Adult conference!

Over three days of connection, inspiration, recreation, personal learning and FUN! You do not want to miss this outstanding opportunity to create new friendships, nourish your body and spirit and connect with other singles, as we learn to lean on the Lord TOGETHER!

Highlights include a pre-conference Temple session on Thursday, June 25th @ 7:00 pm @ the Seattle Temple followed by Post-Temple Ice Cream Social
We will have an informal ice cream social after the Temple session on Thursday. Location: Bellevue South Stake Center next to the Temple.

Plenty of food, a Mega-Mingling group date experience, live band performance, Tabernacle choir watch party, workshops, service projects and a Bellevue Botanical Garden walk. Of course, there will be an exciting Dance Party Saturday night with treats and a soda bar, games, crafts, campfire views, and other fun activities! Sunday will include Sacrament and Sunday school meetings as well as a fireside with Elder Jared Spataro of the 11th quorum of Seventy. There will also be a dessert social to conclude the conference.

This event is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints and is hosted by the Seattle Coordinating Council. Don't delay!

On June 24-25, The Tabernacle at Temple Square will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. It will be 100 years since they debuted there. You can get tickets online to attend in person, or there will be watch parties across the country. This year at our Stake's Valiant Super Activity, the children will participate in a service project for Liberty House.

"Liberty House is the Children's Advocacy Center serving Marion and Polk Counties in Oregon. We are your resource for assessment, healing, and prevention of child abuse, neglect, trauma, and grief.

Child abuse is common, possible to heal, and largely preventable. Liberty House uses these items regularly to help the children and families we serve for abuse concerns.
