Who gets a place inside? And what happens when someone we didn’t expect challenges the way we’ve always understood the answer?

Tomorrow, we’ll hear the story of an encounter between Jesus and a Canaanite woman that raises some fascinating questions about faith, belonging, and just how far God’s welcome reaches.

🍿 What are you doing tomorrow evening?

Our first Community Movie Night is tomorrow at 6:00 p.m., and we'd love to have you join us!

We'll have the snacks ready and a heartwarming, funny movie about an unexpected adventure and discovering that life can still surprise us. The movie is about 90 minutes long, and everyone is welcome. Come on your own, bring a friend, or invite someone who could use a simple night out.

Subtitles will be on, and personal assisted-listening devices are available.

🎬 MOVIE NIGHT AT SALEM PRESBYTERIAN! 🍿

Join us this Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. for our first Community Movie Night!

Come settle in for a fun, heartwarming movie about love, friendship, adventure, and discovering that sometimes a new chapter can begin when you least expect it.

We'll provide the movie snacks, and the film is only about 90 minutes long, so you can enjoy a night out and still be home at a reasonable hour.

Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend, neighbor, or family member, or just bring yourself.

To make the movie easier for everyone to enjoy, we'll have subtitles on, and personal assisted-listening devices are available.
