A reminder that Salem Presbyterian will not hold a worship service tomorrow as part of our summer schedule.

Whether your Sunday is spent with family, in nature, in worship elsewhere, or simply enjoying a slower pace, we hope you'll find moments of rest, renewal, and gratitude.

We look forward to gathering again next Sunday.

Grace and peace until we meet again.

It's easy to notice what's wrong in the world.

It takes intention to notice what is growing.

Look for the small signs of kindness, generosity, courage, forgiveness, and hope around you.

At Salem Presbyterian, we believe God is still at work, often in ways we least expect.

A sanctuary for all people.

What grows when grace is given time?

This Sunday, we'll reflect on Jesus' parable of the wheat and the weeds, a story that invites us to trust God's wisdom, practice patience, and leave room for grace.

We'd love to have you join us.

We live in a world that often expects instant results.

But some of the most important things in life grow slowly.

Trust.
Hope.
Compassion.
Faith.

May we have the patience to nurture what is good, both in ourselves and in one another.

What does it mean to find unity in a world that so often pulls us apart?

This Sunday, we'll reflect on what Scripture has to say about freedom, unity, and the kind of community God invites us to become.

If those are questions you've been wondering about, we'd love to have you join us.

Jesus calls us to love our neighbors in practical ways.

One way Salem Presbyterian seeks to live that out is by supporting the Washington County Food Bank through food donations.

We believe even small acts of kindness can make a difference, and we're grateful to be part of a community that cares for one another.

Sometimes loving our neighbors begins with something as simple as sharing what we have.

Come, all you who are weary.

That's the invitation Jesus offers in Matthew 11 β€” not to the put-together, not to the ones who have it all figured out, but to the tired, the burdened, the ones just trying to make it through another week.

This Sunday at Salem Presbyterian, that's exactly where we're starting.

We're not promising answers to everything. We're not asking you to have it all sorted out before you walk in the door.

We're just offering a place to stop for a little while: hymns, scripture, prayer, and a few quiet minutes to simply be still.

Faith is important.
So is rest.

We'd love to welcome you.

Hope isn't pretending everything is easy.

Hope is choosing to believe that kindness still matters.
That people can still care for one another.
That new life can emerge in surprising places.

In a world that often feels divided and uncertain, hope is an act of faith.

Where have you seen a glimpse of hope lately?

Salem Presbyterian will not hold a worship service tomorrow.

Though we won't gather this Sunday, we remain grateful for this community and for all the ways people continue to care for one another throughout the week.

We pray you find moments of rest, peace, joy, and connection this weekend.

We'll look forward to gathering again next Sunday.

Until then, grace and peace be with you.

When people hear the word "faith," they sometimes think of big moments.

But Jesus often pointed to ordinary things.

Sharing a meal.
Offering a welcome.
Showing compassion.
Helping a neighbor.

At Salem Presbyterian, we believe faith is often lived out in simple acts of care that make life a little lighter for someone else.

Where have you seen that kind of kindness lately?
