Let's cover our kids with prayer!

Such a sweet reminder, parents! 💜

Got the older 2 girls on the bus, sat down for a hot minute to read my Bible in peace and quiet while the other 2 slept and voila, like magic Aubrie was awake and calling for me.

I had literally JUST prayed that all the distractions of life would disappear for just a few minutes while I read (I was already making my to-do list for the day in my head) and BOOM there she was… and then a little voice reminded me “she’s not a distraction from your work, she IS your most important work.”

So I asked if she wanted to snuggle me while I read and together we learned about how Jesus healed the centurion’s servant from far far away and then how Jesus applauded the soldier’s faith for believing He could do it… and long story short, it ended up being a sweet morning instead of me being annoyed at Aubrie for interrupting ❤️

Can we trust that the Lord can teach us outside of the parameters we design ourselves? Cause He can and He does 👏🏻

Washing our hair for daysssss...

Big kids!

What shenanigans were your pastor, teen leader and kids leader up to last week?! Come find out Sunday at 10:30!

Let us tell you, it was worth every kid's giggle and every penny earned (there were lots of giggles and LOTS of pennies)!

Who will be fest dressed?! 🎄😁

We can't believe it's Christmas already — at Very Best Summer: Defying Time! anyway!

Jingle all the way out to us in your most festive apparel! Tonight is Christmas in August, though it'll be anything but a silent night! 😂

Remember to practice Hebrews 13:8: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Is it MAD or TIRED scientist?! 😂

Your kids MIGHT have had a blast at our first night of Very Best Summer: Defying Time! if they were looking like Professor Tony here once they got home!

Can't wait for Backwards Day tomorrow — your kids can dress backwards as we move FORWARD in time to when the greatest inventor of all time makes an appearance in ancient times.

Don't let them forget their money for our sponsorship of children Kleisy and Jefferson in Guatemala and encourage them to practice our verse of the day, Colossians 1:16: "All things were created through him and for him."

See you again tomorrow! And if you didn't make it today, come on out any time this week (click event above for details).

Adults, NEVER underestimate the power of example!

I was sitting at my kitchen table working through a Bible study guide, without a word to my kids about what I was doing, and my 3-year-old son climbed up next to me with HIS devotional.

We don't need to be Bible scholars or even speak a word! Just spend time with Jesus and others will want to, too!
