Please note that starting April 28th, there will be one service on Sundays in Salado at 10:00am.

My Jarrell

Tomorrow is the First Sunday in Advent. Advent means "coming" and in this season we prepare for the coming of Christ. One of the ways we prepare for his coming is by making an Advent wreath. The wreath itself is in the shape of a circle. A circle has no beginning and no end. This reminds us that there is no beginning and no end to God and that God's love and caring are forever.

Each week we light a new candle, one each for Hope, Peace, Love and Joy. The light from the Advent candles grows stronger each Sunday and it reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world.

Advent 1 is the Sunday of Hope and we certainly have an abundance of Hope that our Missional Community in Jarrell will flourish and grow. What a great day to begin our first Sunday Service in Jarrell.

Please join us this Sunday and every Sunday as we worship God, hear His word, and enjoy fellowship in the Christian community. Blessings dear friends...... Fr. Bob+

St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church is excited to announce Sunday worship services will begin in Jarrell on December 2, 2018. We will gather for Holy Eucharist at 8:30am in the Jarrell ISD Boardroom located at 312 N. 5th Street.

Our new Missional Community is being formed to serve the families in Jarrell and surrounding areas. We strive to be a welcoming and diverse community, offering a variety of worship, fellowship, education, and ministry opportunities. We invite you to join with us as we “seek and serve Christ in all persons.”

Please join us for worship and be part of our Faith community. You are never a visitor. You are always our guest and we will welcome you with open arms.
