Curious about our Pumpkin Fest's Pumpkin Chunkin' event? Our very own EYC member, Calvin, is engineering a device to LAUNCH a pumpkin all across our back yard (with permission from the winery to use their space, too!). Come out on Saturday, October 10th from 1-4pm to see how far you can chunk a pumpkin! A portion of the proceeds from this day will help support youth events.

It's *almost* that time! Our pumpkins arrive in late September and the patch will be open in October (until we sell out). And, we are having a PUMPKIN FEST on Saturday, October 10th from 1-4 with a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, a giant pumpkin slingshot, snow cones, and loads of games! Mark your calendar for the fun! REMINDER: This Saturday morning at 8am, Joseph's Carpenters will be meeting for breakfast in the Parish Hall for fellowship and plans for the new season. Eric is treating everyone to Sylvia's Tacos and Susan will have fruit and pastries available. Even if you're brand new, you're welcome to attend (no experience needed).

The Appletree project was a huge success! Last Saturday, 186 new outfits were handed out to very happy area students, (that is twice as many as were distributed last year). Every child who signed up received an outfit. The outfits purchased were then re-bagged into brightly colored gift bags, which made the distribution morning so much more festive for everyone.

Our St. Joseph community showed up in a big way, with 10 of our own parishioners shopping for, and gifting multiple outfits. A big THANK YOU to each and every one of you!
