Through these various classes we can apply biblical truths to our everyday lives and strengthen our relationships with God and with those around us. As a body of be

lievers, we support one another, love one another, equip one another and challenge one another through the common bond that we have as a family in Jesus Christ. We have small groups that provide a special time of fellowship and praying for one another.

“This Week, The Prayer Itself”
I’m thankful for Ritchie Hamm starting off our summer
series last Wed. in a good way, having been given the
tough assignment of speaking on prayer, without having
the ability to say anything about THE prayer which is the
subject of the series. That’s not easy, but I appreciate
his reminders about how often we should go back again
and again to Jesus’ example and ask of Him again,
“Lord,
teach us to pray” (Lk 11:1). He talked with good effect
about the intensity and the fervor and the seriousness
in which we’re to pray, not as an after thought but as a
regular forethought in our day to day lives. He rightly
pointed out that so many throughout God’s Story would
have been impoverished and at a loss (nor would they
have stood out to us as they do) without the bold, brash,
hold-nothing-back prayers they prayed to God. And
God blessed their prayers with “YES!” Just as He will
If we pray with that kind of need, intensity, and faith!
