We’re glad that you’ve found your way to this parish, a place of prayer, sacrament, relationship, and service. Our grounds and our faith are historic, built upon the foundations laid by our ancestors on this island and the host of saints who have come before us. We combine the ancient ways of Christ’s followers with the modern needs and experiences of today’s people. If you seek Christ or a deeper knowledge of him, we invite you to join us on the way. Weekly Services:

Saturday, 5:30 pm: Holy Communion, Rite II at St. Ignatius Chapel (2906 Demere Rd)

Sunday Services
8:00 am – Holy Eucharist, 1928 Book of Common Prayer


9:15 am – Holy Eucharist, Rite II (also livestreamed on Facebook & YouTube)
During the 9:15 am service, we offer Children’s Chapel for our youngest members to learn and grow in faith.

11:15 am – Holy Eucharist, Rite II

A professionally staffed nursery is available for children five and under. Sunday, 5:00 pm: Contemplative Communion service at St. Ignatius (Schedule varies throughout the summer, please see our pinned post)

Join us for an evening of remembrance, fellowship, and thanksgiving at our All Saints’ Day Potluck and Walk on Sunday, November 1.

We’ll begin with a potluck in the Parish Hall from 5:30–6:30 PM. Bring a dish that reminds you of a loved one who has passed away, and, if you feel comfortable, share the story behind it as we gather around the table to remember those we hold dear.

Then, join us for our All Saints’ Walk through the cemetery, where candles will illuminate the graves as we honor the lives of those who have gone before us. Families are welcome to decorate the graves of loved ones they wish to remember. Together, we’ll share in a special liturgy and music as we give thanks for the saints who have shaped our lives and faith.

Please bring a flashlight to help guide you through the cemetery.

All are welcome as we come together to remember, celebrate, and give thanks for the lives and love that remain with us.

We are overjoyed to share that Deacon Ethan White has been approved for ordination to the priesthood! This is an exciting milestone in Ethan’s journey of ministry, and we are so grateful for the gifts, faith, and heart for service he brings to our Christ Church community.

Ethan will be ordained as a priest during the Diocesan Convention Eucharist on Friday, November 6, at 5:00 PM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick.

We invite you to join us in celebrating and supporting Ethan as he takes this next step in his vocation. Please come and be part of this special occasion as we surround him with prayer, support, and encouragement.

Yesterday was a wonderful Sunday at Christ Church! We were honored to welcome Bishop Frank Logue, who confirmed, reaffirmed, and received members of our church family during the 9:15 AM service. We are so excited for each of these individuals as they continue their faith journeys!

After our services, we gathered for our Pig Pickin’ and 2027 Annual Fund Kickoff! We even had a special performance from a barbershop quintet featuring some familiar faces to help us celebrate this year’s theme, Whisper in the Wind. 🍃

From celebrating new steps in faith to sharing a meal and kicking off a new season of giving, it was such a joy to spend the day together as a church family. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special Sunday!
