Lord of Life Lutheran Church, St Simons Island Founded 1988. We are a community of people dedicated to love and we serve Jesus Christ, both through the church and in our everyday lives. We are praying people.

We are drawn from various backgrounds and different places, but we find kinship in the Lord. We are growing in faith, as we trust the Holy Spirit to lead us into the future God has prepared for us. We are a thankful church -- rejoicing that God freely loves and forgives us in Jesus Christ. We cherish the privilege of lifting to God our joys and sorrows, our needs and blessings. We offer multiple o

pportunities for Bible study, for fellowship, and for service beyond the church. Whether you have long known the Lord -- or are seeking an introduction -- you will find a warm, welcome, and Spirit-filled home with us. We pray you will join us for worship soon. May God bless you!

Lord of Life Lutheran Church extends its condolences to his wife Carol and the family of Patrick Ferguson, who passed away on June 8, 2026.

A funeral service will be held for Pat at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, St Simons Island on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s name can be made to the Humane Society of South Coastal GA, Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA, or to the National Parks Foundation.

Rest in peace Patrick. ❤️✝️🙏🏼

Canned tuna, chicken, and Vienna sausages are needed at Sparrow's nest! These vital canned proteins are crucial components of our meal bags we give out. We can't have chicken spaghetti without the chicken!

Not to be CHEESY, but we need your help!

We are running low on our macaroni and cheese. Sparrow's Nest could really use some boxed macaroni and cheese, or the microwavable cups! These can be brought to 2911 Altama Ave Monday - Thursday 9-4.
