Brantley Co. Fire:

Today, even if you are struggling yourself, reach out to your neighbors.

Bear their burdens.

Don’t let them go through this alone!!!

Let the Lord use you to show them there is lasting Hope in Him.

Just a few days after the fire, new growth could be seen coming from the ashes. This should remind us that this too shall pass and better days are to come.

But for many, those better days are not yet here. Many have lost everything… even hope for some. Our prayer is that they reach out to the Lord to find comfort. Only Jesus can provide true and lasting Hope!

God often uses us to show those in need His love and to provide Hope for those who are struggling. Today let Him use you to provide Hope to your neighbors.

Very Important Brantley Co. Fire Update!
When we said "you give to us, we give to them", this is what we meant!

First, all Glory to the Lord! Once again, He has allowed us to serve in ways that a little ministry should not be capable of. Only through Him can we accomplish such LARGE things, being so small.

We have received $212,968.06 in donations designated for the fire from over 200 donors. We have spent $207,280.27 of that, which has been used 100% to help fire victims. We are still trying to locate more families that lost their homes, which the remainder will go to.

NO salaries, NO administration costs, not even gas. We were even able to cover fees on the gift cards, making sure 100% of your donation went to the fire victims. No middlemen. You trusted and gave to us; we gave straight to them personally.

If you gave to us and did not designate for the fire, but have never given to us before, we went ahead and gave 100% of your donation to the fire victims as well.

The day the fire started, we bought pallets of water and got ready to serve. Day 2, we were able to start putting $500 gift cards straight into families’ hands. Over the past month we met with, prayed with, cried with, and placed aid into the hands over 80 families who lost their homes.

We then began to allow the Lord to use us in many more ways, including providing families temporary housing.

To date we have given $85,600.00 in gift cards and provided temporary housing with $107,067.04 in campers. We have also paid to have power restored, well repair, campsite payments, supplies, food, toys, Bibles, etc.

The pictures included will show donors exactly where their donations went to. We invite you to look over them if you donated, to see for yourself.

During disasters there are many questions about how much of your donation actually gets to those in need. Before you give, always look back to past disasters and see who was on the ground and what they got accomplished. Just because a ministry is small, that does not mean they cannot be very effective and trusted with your donation.

WE ARE STILL ACTIVELY SERVING IN BRANTLEY CO. We are no longer able to do $1 for $1 donations straight to the victims as we are now in the clean-up and rebuilding phase. This phase takes lots of additional costs like tractor and truck fuel, materials, etc., which so far, we have been absorbing.

Many folks are still in need of campers in Brantley Co. for temporary housing.

Horizon RV Center in Lake Park and R&R Auto and Camper Sales in Jesup gave us great deals so we could get families a safe place to stay.

If you need a camper for temporary housing, buying a camper for a family in need or just need a camper to go on a family trip, call these guys first!

Still lots of work and needs in Brantley County! We’ve switched over from financial help to clean up and rebuild.

Fire Response: Important update!

With the Lord's help our little ministry has been able to accomplish some amazing things for those in need in Brantley County. Just like with past disasters, BIG things we could only accomplish with His help. Our goal was to raise $50,000 for gift cards for every family who lost their home.

Instead of providing $50,000, through 250+ donors, God provided over $200,000 of which we have personally placed over $200,000 of it straight into the families hands, while praying and crying with them. We did this through funds on visa gift cards (so they could buy what they needed), providing temporary housing through campers we purchased, and many other ways. We will provide a detailed account showing where the donations went when we finish up.

WE WILL STILL BE SERVING IN BRANTLEY, but are transitioning from the financial assistance, to helping physically get families in housing.

If you would like to help us serve folks in great need, we are always appreciative. There are many costs to running a ministry who serves in the way we do. From trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc., to fuel and insurance to operate them. Switching back from financial assistance to our regular disaster relief services, means we will no longer be personally tracking down victims and placing your donation ($1 for $1) into their hands. So Please do not send designated Brantley fire donations.

To be able to keep serving them we need to go back to accepting regular undesignated donations only so we can afford the daily operations to be able to continue our work in Brantley. Fire Update

We are looking for donations of good RVs to immediately put families in. We are also going to buy a few as well.

We already have verified families that have lost their homes for these campers. There are larger organizations that are also doing this. Please check with them if you are in need of one.

If you would like to donate a camper. We are looking for ones like in the picture. Not new but in great shape and ready to camp in today.

We are not trying to be picky, but they have to be in good working order. We cannot put a family in a camper and then tell them they have to get out for a month while we try and fix things.

We do not have the funds nor the manpower to work on trailers. There are those out there that do and can and will probably take your camper even if it needs a little work. The need for them is definitely there.

If you do want to donate one to us that’s in great shape, please send us a few pictures so that we can see the lay out to decide what family it would work best for. And also the year and model # so we can check on insurance for it.

Fire Update

Yesterday we were able to place our first family in a camper! 🙏

It was donated by an awesome local family who not only donated it, but made sure it had sheets and everything the family needed.

Thanks to the Island Campground folks for helping us get everything set up.

Brantley Co Fire Update:

Today starts our 12th day of being boots on the ground. All though the fire situation is much better, the need is still extremely great.

There is not an official final number for homes lost as of today, but the consensus is there will be over 100 families who had a complete lost.

To date, Mtn2Sea Ministries through the Lord’s help and your donations has bought over $60,000.00 in gift cards. We have been able to personally pray with, cry with, and place $500 Visa gift cards straight into the hands of 74 families. There are many more families that we are trying to quickly identify an help, through the school system, the county family connection office, and local churches.

Today we will place our first family, that has been sleeping in a tent, in a camper that a local family donated. We are praying this will be the first of many.

If you or your church, business, group, etc. would like to help, please find a group that is on the ground and can personally get your donation into the hands of those that desperately need it. We have a list of churches we have been personally working with that we trust below, if you would like to help through them.

Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church - Is helping those who have lost their homes and feeding.
Nahunta Global Methodist Church - Has allowed us to use their church as an office! They have supplies and have been helping many. The pastor is personally helping us get supplies into the hands that need them. Good folks!
