Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow!
South Georgia, do you see yourself implementing these liturgies and how?
📖 The Draft Liturgies of the Global Methodist Church are here!
Liturgy is at the heart of our life together as the Church. Through worship and prayer, we offer doxology, or “right praise,” in response to God’s mighty acts of salvation in Jesus Christ. Our practices of prayer shape what we believe, and what we believe shapes how we live as faithful followers of Jesus.
Today marks the beginning of a three-month churchwide review period for the Draft Liturgies of the Global Methodist Church. Pastors, church leaders, and congregations around the world are invited to review and use these liturgies in their local contexts and share their feedback with the Liturgy Task Force.
The Liturgy Task Force and writing team have worked diligently to develop liturgies that:
🙏 Honor Christ and glorify the Triune God
📖 Guard and teach the Church’s doctrine
🌎 Reflect our diverse global contexts
✝️ Recover and celebrate our Wesleyan heritage
⛪ Serve the everyday ministry of pastors and church leaders
Drawing on the riches of our Wesleyan tradition and the Book of Common Prayer, these Draft Liturgies seek to unite us with the communion of saints across every tribe, tongue, and nation in worship of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
🌎 The Draft Liturgies are available to review in all six official languages of the Global Methodist Church.

This is a beginning, not an ending. We invite the Church to pray, worship, use these liturgies, and provide thoughtful feedback throughout the review period. May these resources faithfully serve Christ and the Global Methodist Church, by the power of the Spirit, to the glory of God the Father.
Feedback will be accepted through December 31, 2026.
