Spectacular Saturday!!!!! Thought: Refection.

It is the day after celebrating the life of a very dear child of God, Norma Geraldine "Jerri" Miller (aka: Mama). She is one of the many gifts God has placed in my life.

Although she will be missed, I know as her pastor, I will be able to give a good report to the Lord for the life that she lived on this side of Heaven.

We grew together. She would challenged me, and in turn, I challenged her. All good of course.

There is no soreness in my heart. Rather, there is joy from knowing that she does not have to suffer in this life. She has made the transition we will all have to make one day.

If you are not prepared to meet the Lord Jesus, what is keeping you from opening the door to you heart, while He stands outside knocking?

Mama Miller, opened her heart to Jesus, and He did a wonderful work in her life, and she touched the lives of many people around her, including me.

You will be missed, but you will not be forgotten!!!!!

Marvelous Monday!!! Thought: Strive to Finish Your Course!!!!

It is with deep emotions that I write this post. A dear saint has gone on to be with the Lord. I am not sad, because She lived a life according to God's word.

Therefore, I celebrate her transition from mortal to immortality, from corruption to ithe incorruptible, and from death to the true life in Jesus Christ.

Most of all, I celebrate the fact that She finished her course!!!!

For those of us who remain, we must strive to do the same, because now is not the time to give up. So, fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold to eternal life!!!!

It's Spectacular Saturday!!!!! Thought: When God Pleads with you, it's past the time to take notice.

God will send someone your way in order to let you know that He loves you, and that He desires for you to serve only Him.

He did this on several occasions with the separated tribes of Israel and Judah. However, they rejected His words delivered by His prophets.

When God has had enough with us rejecting His word, He will remove His Spirit from us just to let us really see how things are without His Grace and His Mercy. This is a very bad place to be (read Romans 1:16-32).

The warning is this, don't let it come to the point where God is pleading with you to return to Him. If you need to make things right with God, then do it without any hesitation.

We are drawing closer to His appearing, and we do not need the world, or our flesh leading us in the paths of unrighteousness. Stay on the path that He as placed you upon. You will be glad that you did.

It's Fabulous Friday!!!!! No Pictures for now. Thought: Hang In There!!!!

There were men, in the Bible, who were known as "Mighty Men of Valour (Biblical Spelling). For some, who read their Bible, you just might associate this phase with the thirty-seven men who surrounded king David (2 Samuel 23:8-39).

However, it was first used, by Joshua when the Rubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh crossed the Jordan River to fight with their brothers in the Promised Land (Joshua 1:12-18).

They were to stay and fight until the land was subdued by their brothers, no matter how long it took. Their loved ones were to remain on the other side of the Jordan. There would be no family celebrations, cookouts, etc. They hung tight until their commitment was completed.

There will be, or there are now times in your life where you will be asked to go fight, by the Lord, for something that you will not benefit from. You can either accept the call or stay on the other side of the Jordan.

If you accept the call, then you must "Hang In There," until the mission is completed, be it church planting with someone else, teaching a Home Group Study for a struggling church, etc.

On this Fabulous Friday, listen for the "Still small voice," which will challenge you to move out of your comfort zone in order to help a brother or sister cross over into their Promised Area of Ministry, and wait until they do. You will be glad that you did!!!!!!
