The sympathies of our church family are extended to Sharon Van Aken, as well as the family and friends of Gary Van Aken, Sr. who died on August 23rd at the age of 81. Gary was a long-time member of our church, who served as an Elder and Vice-President of Consistory for many years. Gary’s fingerprints can be found in many places around our church, as well as in the lives of the many teenagers whom he taught and mentored over many years. Gary will be missed, but we are thankful that he is now in the presence of the Savior he served so faithfully and well.
Visitation takes place on Tuesday, September 8th from 4-7 PM at the Keyser Funeral Home in Port Ewen (at the corner of Broadway and W. Stout Ave.). Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, September 9 th , 11 AM in our sanctuary. Internment will take place in the St. Remy Rural Cemetery following the funeral service. A luncheon will take place in Mane Fellowship Hall following the Internment.

❤ APOSTLES CREED I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
❤ THE LORDS PRAYER Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
