1st Mount Pilgrim Evangelical Missionary Baptist Church Following the mandate of Christ. To provide and develop a wholistic youth center for redirecting the youth to wholesome and productive activities. P.

To provide a place of worship for the world at large, by lifting up the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and also provide a wholistic ministry which governs its moral and conduct according to the Word of God. Vision: To promote Christian Education and growth by enhancing the youth and community knowledge in the Palmetto and Saint Petersburg Community. Provide an education program from day

care-12th grade that bridges the gap from generation to generation. This is accomplished by providing an elderly daycare for senior, this will provide a connection between the young and old so that values of all ages can be appreciated. Educate the participants on the disadvantages of drugs and illegal use and create a drug free community. Secularity and religiously educate by building an education and social program. These programs will be housed in the L. Davis Institute of Christian Education and Sarah E. Davis Family Life Center.
