Celebrated 4 amazing baptisms this past Sunday at St. Pete Beach! Jesus is in the business of changing lives and so are we. Thankful for the opportunity to be a part of it.

Show mercy this week! Withhold a consequence from someone who deserves it. Do an act of kindness in Christ’s love for someone undeserving. What difference could that make?

When you extend mercy and grace to others, you’re reflecting the same mercy and grace Christ showed you. This week, challenge yourself to be someone’s unexpected blessing.

The royal law of love: Love others as yourself. This is obeying God’s law.

From Leviticus 19:18 to Matthew 22:37-39, this command echoes through Scripture. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

When we love others as ourselves, we’re fulfilling the entire law. No revenge, no grudges, just love.

Mercy is God’s ministry to the miserable. It is both intensely personal and immensely practical.

When we’re treated unfairly, God’s mercy relieves our bitterness. When we grieve over loss, it relieves our pain, anger, and denial. When we struggle with disability, it relieves our self-pity. When we endure physical pain, it relieves our hopelessness. When we deal with being sinful, it relieves our guilt.

This powerful truth from biblical scholar J. Dwight Pentecost reminds us of God’s compassion in our darkest moments. Micah 6:8 says it best: “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

When everything shifts, He doesn’t. 🙏

God never changes. Never wavers. Never fails you. While everyone and everything around you is unstable, He is your solid ground.

In the chaos, He gives you an escape. In the temptation, He shows you the way out.

That’s the God we serve.

God gives without finding fault. He doesn’t judge you for coming back. He doesn’t hold your past mistakes against you. He gives generously, every single time you ask. James 1:5

When you lack wisdom, ask God. He gives generously without reproach. 🙏

James 1:5 reminds us that God doesn’t hold back His guidance. Whatever trial you’re walking through, He’s already prepared the wisdom you need.

Ask Him. Trust Him. He’s listening.
