Leadership is not about how many people serve you, it’s about how willing you are to serve others.

Pastor Durrell Sykes challenged us during our Empowerment Conference to embrace God’s model of leadership, especially within our families. Before leadership is demonstrated publicly, it must be practiced faithfully at home.

The one who expects the most should be willing to serve the most.

Where does faith come from and how do we obtain it?
Brother Todd reminded us at our Empowerment Conference that faith is not something we manufacture. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” If God does not speak, there can be no hearing... and without hearing, there can be no faith.
