A Biblical Vision

Our vision at Northside Baptist Church, is to provide free of charge King James Bibles to those pastors, missionaries and churches who are like minded in faith and doctrine. In Amos 3:3 God said, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Everyone who contacts us about Bibles is given a questionnaire about their church, their faith and their doctrine to answer. If any answer given is not correct according to scripture then they are denied, because we are not walking in the same direction on the same path.

Those who are of the same faith and doctrine are then placed on a waiting list. We take their information, the number of Bibles requested, and their purpose in wanting the Bibles. We require several things before being placed on the list, after they are placed on the list, and after they receive the Bibles. These things are for accountability on our part in receiving monies, and on their part in receiving Bibles. We all need to be good stewards of what God is doing through this ministry.

Just this week I was speaking to a young man, John Paul over in the Philippines. He had trusted Christ as his Saviour just six months ago. He was raised a Catholic by his family. He was saved in a ministry outreached by a Independent Baptist Church that this ministry sent Bibles to. He wrote me to thank me and those who gave so he could have a King James Bible for the first time in his life. John Paul is only 17, and is praying for his family to trust Christ as well. This young man’s life will be changed for all eternity because someone gave $8.

We are praying for each of you to commit to give $8 per month to purchase one King James Bible. $8 is not a lot of money for most people here in the United States, but to those who are living on $3 per month in some countries, it an impossible dream. Every dollar given will be used ONLY to purchase Bibles or for shipping. Our church is a non-profit that does not take one penny of this money for any reason. Those wishing to receive a record of your giving for tax purposes, must let us know so we will send it to you at the end of the year.
