✝️🌅 This morning, our St. Bart’s community gathered at the beachfront of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church for a beautiful celebration of Holy Baptism.

Surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones, Zeliah was baptized through full immersion in the waters of the Gulf. We witnessed a powerful reminder of God’s love, grace, and the promise of new life in Christ.

We give thanks for Zeliah, her sponsors, and all who joined us for this sacred and joyful occasion. Join us in praying for Zeliah as she continues her journey of faith. 🙏🕊️

This Sunday, June 7th at 7:00AM at the beachfront of St Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Pinellas Point (738 Pinellas Point Dr. S), Zeliah Jaylin Nale will be baptized! Zeliah has opted for a full immersion baptism in the Gulf of Mexico. Park and walk straight down to the water. We gather at dawn to highlight the movement from darkness to light that Holy Baptism symbolizes for all of us.

Baptism into Christ is a solemn, joyful, community moment. We hope many of you will attend! You are welcome to wade into the water with Reverend Ethan, Zeliah, and her baptismal sponsors, or watch from the shore. If you would like to come into the water, we recommend that you wear water shoes. At the 10am service at St Bart’s, Ethan will preach about Holy Baptism and healing, and Zeliah will receive Holy Communion for the first time!

Collect for Trinity Sunday

Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

🎨 Last Sunday, our Sunday School children enjoyed a special visit from Hungarian artist Eszter Voros.

Eszter shared about life in Hungary, her journey as an artist, and some of her artwork with the children. Inspired by her painting Night Gallop, they created their own unique versions using shapes, colors, and plenty of imagination.

The children did an amazing job and asked thoughtful questions that led to a lively and engaging discussion. It was a wonderful morning of creativity, learning, and fun. Thank you, Eszter, for sharing your time, talents, and inspiration with us! 🌈✨

🌈 “So we’re included… now what?”

Join us for an honest and meaningful conversation at St. Bart’s LGBTQ & Friends Pride Dinner as speakers Rev. Dr. Candace Shultis and Rev. Ted Clarkson share reflections from their personal journeys of inclusion, faith, ministry, and growth as Christians. Following their conversation, Rev. Ethan Cole will lead a moderated Q&A discussion.

In this video, catch a few of the different topics Candace, Ted, and Ethan were discussing ahead of the Pride Dinner — including Pride, authenticity, ministry, community, and the importance of listening to one another as we continue making space for all people at God’s table. 💜
