Another Sunday of glorious music on August 30th filled Maximo as the Summer Pick‑Up Choir, guest singers, and guest musicians shared their gifts with us. Worship featured beautiful voices alongside piano, guitar, mountain dulcimer, congas, flute, and trombone—all offered in joy and gratitude.

After worship on Sunday August 23rd, you are invited to stop by the handbell information table in the narthex. Irma will be glad to talk with you about all things bells and answer any questions you may have. Starting a new music group is an exciting opportunity for our church, and we have a beautiful three‑octave set of handbells that has been silent for many years—now waiting for ringers to bring them to life.

If you have never participated in a musical ensemble, this is a wonderful chance to experience music‑making with others, enjoy fellowship, and praise God with a joyful sound. For those who have rung bells before, we need you and want you. Come be part of something new and exciting.
