Pearls and Swine!
Today's Scripture
“Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.” Matthew 7:6, NLT
TODAY'S WORD
Jesus said to overcome evil with good and to bless our enemies, but he also admonish us not to cast our pearls among swine otherwise they will turn around and trample them!
When he said “donnot cast your c your pearls among swine,” he meant not to give good things to people who does not appreciate them or even keep trying to convince those who refuse to believe the gospel!
Some people won’t value the calling neither the gift nor annointing that God has blessed you with.
They will reject and trample on you because you speak the thruth!
Your time is too valuable to waste with people who trample your pearls; your gift or annointing to teach, heal or even to counsel those who are struggling.
Don’t hang around people who try to destroy your character or make you feel like you have to prove everything to them.
You don’t need their approval as servants of the living God!
He created you in his own image and he made and called you his masterpiece.
Hang around people who recognize your gifts and are open to recieve you regardless of your race , class, culture or creed. furthermore, hang with those who bring out the best in you, and who would cause your pearls to shine!
A Prayer for Today
“Father, I thank you that when others refuse to believe your gospel and don’t value your calling on my life it does not make me get dishearten but it teaches me to be patient and strong.
Thank you for helping me to let them go.
Thank You that I don’t need their approval or respect, because I already have Your approval.
I will not throw my pearls before swine cause I know that they are not appreciative of them. Help those who are stuck in their ways to have a change of heart O Lord God my redeemer!
In Jesus Christ of Nazareth name I pray. Amen.”
