We establish Centers of Hope in some of the most impoverished parts of the world to care for the most vulnerable among us. Hope Partners is a Christ-centered international ministry with a simple mission: To rescue children and transform their lives. We fulfill this mission through one key strategy: We build Hope Centers in some of the world’s most desperately needy places. We’ve rolled up our slee

ves and established Hope Centers in a poverty-wracked area on the outskirts of San José, Costa Rica…in a daunting slum near Nairobi, Kenya…and in forbidding regions in northern India. In the slums of Barquisimeto, Venezuela, more than 400 children and moms in extreme poverty come to our center to find food, medical care, trauma counseling and spiritual guidance. Hope Centers can also be found in Sri Lanka where 22% of Sri Lankans are undernourished or malnourished. Finally, displaced Ukrainian children and their families are looking for safe refuge, and their HOPE to live without trauma with a chance to rebuild their lives. Our Hope Center nearest Constanta, Romania is just 105 km from the border of Ukraine. Our Hope Center staff is ready to provide prayers, safe shelter, hot meals, hygiene supplies, fuel to keep warm, transport to safe areas, counseling support and more. Through acts of compassion, we can help in this immediate crisis. In each of these locations we help the helpless and give hope to the hopeless. In Jesus’ name and with his compassion we care for “the least of these” — the orphaned, abandoned, abused children who are left to fend for themselves in conditions so harsh and unforgiving that it defies description.

In Pavas, hope can be hard to see at first. But Steven sees it every day.

As the Youth Connection Coordinator at Hope Costa Rica, he walks with young people who are searching for something different.

A way forward.
A safe place.
A message that speaks peace and love over their lives.

Every time a young person walks through the doors of Hope, they are reminded that their story is not finished.

That is why Hope is here.

To rescue children.
To walk with youth.
To help them believe, in Jesus’ name, that their life can be different.

What happens when a child finally feels safe?

Maybe it looks something like this. A hug that lasts a little longer.

A child who no longer has to look over her shoulder. A place where she is known, protected, fed, taught, and reminded every day that she is loved by God.

In one of the toughest communities in San José, Costa Rica, children walk through the doors of our Hope Center carrying burdens no child should have to carry.

But something changes here.

They find safety.
They find people who care.
They find a future worth believing in.

And little by little, fear gives way to trust.

This is why Hope Partners International exists. To rescue children, transform lives, and share the hope of Jesus with every child we can reach.

She made a flower today. 🌸 In the middle it said, “Love is kind.”

And behind her, on a heart, were the words, “Isus Ma Iubeste.”

Jesus loves me.

At the Siminoc Hope Center in Romania, children are learning more than lessons. They are learning that they are loved, seen, safe, and never forgotten.

That kind of love takes root slowly. But then you see a smile like this. And you remember why HOPE is here.

“What can I do to help?” Vali hears that question often in Babadag, Romania where we have a Hope Center.

His answer is simple. “Sponsor a child.”

A child receives meals, a safe place to learn, protection, and caring adults who invest in their future. But there’s something even deeper.

Many children in the Roma community grow up believing they have been forgotten. That’s why Hope Center Babadag exists.

Every day, children experience the love of Christ and discover that God has a purpose for their lives.

One bad decision can change everything. ⬇️

Wendy knows because she grew up here in Pavas. She sees children every day who are fighting for a different future, not only against poverty, but against the pressure, influences, and choices that can pull them away from it.

And that is the part that breaks her heart. Because sometimes, despite all the effort, some still choose a different path.

But HOPE refuses to give up. Every meal says, “You matter.” Every lesson says, “Your future is worth fighting for.” Every prayer says, “You are not alone.” Every trusted adult says, “Keep going.”

Most people see a child. Wendy sees a future hanging in the balance.

And that is why Hope Center Costa Rica is here, to walk beside children before one bad decision becomes the story of their life.

Pray for the children of Pavas. Pray for wisdom, courage, and the strength to keep choosing a better path.
