Vedanta Center of St. Petersburg

Vedanta Center of St. Petersburg The Vedanta Center of St. Petersburg, Florida, is a non-profit religious organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida.

The Center has been a branch of the Ramakrishna Order of India since 2006. The Center bases its teachings on the system of Vedanta, especially as lived and taught by Sri Ramakrishna (1836-1886) and his disciple Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902). Vedanta teaches that every soul is potentially divine and that the goal of life is to manifest this divinity. Vedanta reveals the underlying harmony of all religions and points out that they are different approaches to one and the same Reality.

Great Seers of past tell us through scriptures that all we see and perceive is God, the immortal Reality. That Reality is the light of pure Consciousness and the infinite Bliss.
