Congratulations on the Great Twelfth Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters! In our church the Divine Liturgy was celebrated, and grapes and fruits were blessed.

You were transfigured on the mountain, O Christ God, / revealing Your glory to Your disciples as far as they could bear it. / Let Your everlasting Light also shine upon us sinners, / through the prayers of the Theotokos. / O Giver of Light, glory to You!

Поздравляем всех православных с праздником Происхождения (изнесения) честных древ Животворящего Креста Господня. Сегодня настоятель храма, митрофорный протоиерей отец Игорь отслужил молебен, освятил воду и мед. Наше Сестричество также искренне поздравляет прихожан и друзей проихода с этим светлым Праздником, по народному - с Медовым Спасом, с Днем св. муч. братьев Макавеев! Пусть сила Честного и Животворящего Креста Господня укрепляет нашу веру, хранит от всякого зла, дарует мир, здоровье, благополучие и Божию помощь во всех добрых делах Божией благодати, крепости духа и сердечного мира!

We congratulate all Orthodox Christians on the feast of the Procession (bringing forth) of the Honorable Woods of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord. Today the rector of the church, Mitred Archpriest Father Igor, served a moleben, blessed the water and honey. Our Sisterhood also sincerely congratulates the parishioners and friends of the parish on this radiant Feast — in the folk tradition, Honey Savior, and the Day of the Holy Martyr Brothers Maccabees! May the power of the Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord strengthen our faith, protect us from every evil, and grant us peace, health, well-being, and God’s help in all good works, together with God’s grace, strength of spirit, and peace of heart!
