We are pleased to welcome Guillermo Lopez as our new Music Director. Guillermo holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Sonora in Mexico and brings with him many years of experience as a vocalist, pianist, and music educator. He has served as a music director for parish liturgies, taught piano and voice to students of all ages, and performed with organizations such as Tampa Opera. We are grateful to have him share his talents with our parish community and look forward to the beauty and reverence he will bring to our liturgies. Please join us in warmly welcoming Guillermo to our parish family!

This past Sunday, we introduced our Traveling Chalice as part of a diocesan prayer initiative for vocations. Our Diocese has begun a Prayer Campaign with a Pilgrim Chalice, asking the Lord for an increase in priestly vocations. We invite our families to pray together, that many may hear and respond to God’s call to the priesthood. The purpose of World Day of Prayer for Vocations is to publicly fulfill the Lord's instruction to, "Pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest". While appreciating all vocations, the Church concentrates its attention this day on vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life, and to the missionary life. This Sunday, April 26, marks the 63rd Anniversary of the World Day of Prayer for Vocations!
