has the following comments on today's Florida Supreme Court decision.
There is certainly a lot of hindsight and frustration that I could enter into, but this will be much more practical.
1. This November the Courts have essentially given Floridians the choice between a six-week abortion ban and virtually no abortion restrictions.
2. There is no longer any time for division between pro-lifers on their various proposals. We are on defense. And we need everyone's help to stop Amendment 4.
3. If this horrible amendment passes, all previous pro-life legislation will be stripped out of Florida law. There will no parental consent, no parental notification, no 15 week ban, no 24 hour waiting period. If a doctor claims a baby is not "viable" (the Amendment leaves this definition out).
4. We have six months to preserve PRO-LIFE legislation in Florida, or become the California of the south!
