The Healing Love of Jesus Ministry

A few weeks ago, a young man at our church lead this song in worship. He did such a great job, and the song moved me so much.
I ran to him after service to find out the name of the song.
Since then I can’t stop listening to it, it blesses me so much. I thought if it does that for me, perhaps it would minister to you as well.

Hard to believe that we have reached the end of 2023. We know for many, this has been a hard year. We have not been exempt from that ourselves , but we want to encourage you. God is still on the throne, He does hear you when you pray and He loves you with an everlasting love! May you see His goodness and faithfulness in 2024, like you’ve not seen before!
He wants to reveal Himself to you in new ways, let Him. If you don’t truly know the Lord, may this be the year you welcome Him into your life. Let Him heal your weary soul, and heal your wounded spirit. He’s waiting for your invitation.🙏
God bless you in 2024 and beyond. Happy New Year everyone

Hi All! So sorry that it has been a while since our last post. We had our family member who was ill and we were caring for. He has since gone home to be with the Lord. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we’ve been navigating through this challenging time.

Which leads me to what we wanted to touch base on, which is Grace.
God’s supernatural Grace.
The Bible Dictionary describes Grace as “a divine means of help or strength.”
Grace is the power that enables us to do and be what we cannot do or be on our own.
James 4:4 tells us that “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble”
Realizing how much we need the Lord’s help and strength and acknowledging that, opens the door for the Lord to give us more.

We also need to recognize when we’ve been given the grace to accomplish something, we need to then move forward in doing it.
Paul says in Galatians 2:21, the he “does not frustrate the grace of God”.

Throughout our lives the Lord will give us the strength to complete different tasks. He will also empower us to fulfill our calling. He expects us to use the grace that He gives us to get these things done.

Yes it could be starting a church or going on the mission field, but the Lord also could be giving you the grace to lose 20 lbs., or start exercising and eating healthier, or to clean out that spare room or garage, or go back to school, or the grace to call that person you haven’t spoken to and bring healing in a relationship.

You also may have strayed away from the Lord, and He is giving you the grace right now to come back into fellowship with Him.

Let us encourage you today, that whatever you are sensing the grace for, to move forward that grace you’ve been given and achieve all that the Lord has for you!

Let us pray for you,
Father we thank you for your grace. We thank you, that what you have for us to do, you give us the power and strength to do it. So we pray right now for those reaching out, that they would have the courage to step out in the grace that you have given them, and accomplish all that you have for them to accomplish. We love you Lord and we thank you for hearing our prayer. We pray this in Jesus name Amen.

Remember the Lord loves you. Be blessed! 🙏✝️

This month’s post is a little different, as we have been needing to take a step back from videos for a season. Since March of this year we have been increasingly needed in the care of a family member. We plan to return to our video recordings, as soon we are able. In the meantime, we will post written teachings from time to time. Thank you so much for your prayers!🙏❤️

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

Such a familiar passage of scripture, many of us take it for granted, and say “oh, I know that” But are we living it?

 We’d like to encourage you this month to read this passage out loud every day. As most of you know, we are in Bible College, and the president of our college has had us do the same. So we began doing this together each day. We started with the 30 days, but have continued now for almost 6 months!

It is amazing how much this begins to change you. How you start to respond more to others in love. You see people through eyes of love. God’s kind of love!

We recently had the opportunity to council a couple who were on the verge of divorce. We asked them to read this passage aloud everyday for 30 days. They didn’t even do it together, they did it separately, but it has changed them. They have decided to stay together!!❤️🙏
Verse 8 Tells us that,
“Love Never Fails!”

Matthew 24:12 tells us that
“The love of many will grow cold”
As believers we need to guard our hearts from this. Please take this encouraging challenge and read this passage for the next month. Watch it transform you and then, in turn, effect all those around you!
