Jake Boykin was a Proclaim leader from 2018-2020. Jake loved Jesus and Gustavus community with his whole heart and we grieve his loss. There's a tentative service being planned at Gustavus for November 19 with an opportunity to help cover travel expenses for Jake's family.

Tonight’s speaker is Ashley Ley! She’s a senior Biochemistry Molecular Biology and Chemistry double major with a music minor. She chose Gustavus because she immediately felt at home on campus and was drawn here; it was where she needed to go! She chose Proclaim because she loved the welcoming and supportive community, and her favorite bible verse is Joshua 1:9. Two fun facts about Ashley is that this is her second year in a row she’s spoken at Proclaim on the first day of school, and she has been playing the Tuba for 10 years!
