I wanted to personally invite you to celebrate Father's Day with us this Sunday at Second New Light Missionary Baptist Church.
We would be honored to have you join us for worship, and immediately following the service, we will be serving a meal as we celebrate and honor fathers and the impact they make in our families and communities.

Yesterday, an important community initiative was implemented to improve safety at the four-way intersection near Second New Light MBC (Second New Light Missionary Baptist Church) on Chicken Foot Road, where several serious accidents and fatalities have occurred over the years. Additional stop signs and flashing lights will be installed to help protect motorists, families, and community members who travel through this area daily.
As Pastor of Second New Light, I am deeply grateful to the leaders, public officials, transportation professionals, and community advocates who worked diligently to make this happen. Their efforts demonstrate what true community partnership looks like.
This is what community is all about—people coming together to address concerns, protect lives, and make our neighborhoods safer for everyone. When we work together for the common good, we create positive change that benefits generations to come.
Thank you to everyone who played a role in this effort. Your commitment to the safety and well-being of our community is appreciated more than words can express.
