Campus Gardens at Temple of Aaron Mary Maguire Lerman started as consultant on the Campus Gardens at Temple of Aaron in 2011. It began with the large rain garden on the east side of the temple .

More gardens were added on the north, northwest and south and the River of Grass Garden. Join!

Of course Garden of Eatin is exploding! Each week we are harvesting then donate to Francis Basket Food Market. Cherry tomatoes, peppers, basil, rosemary, sage, parsley, thyme. Today we harvested 17 pounds!

You may have noticed the Hellebores growing in a few places in the gardens. They are quite hardly and surviving nicely in Minnesota. They are considered evergreen—we’ve noticed that they still look good in the Spring and it’s nice that they flower early.
There’s a special purple variety in the Rain Garden that is visible in the Spring, but eventually gets overwhelmed.
