Duluth’s Eugene A. Boman Memorial Circle had an investiture last night with 11 new squire members. While we were waiting for investiture to happen two of the dad’s joined KC online and were able to view their son’s investiture. It was a great night!

This weekend MN Columbian Squires are having their state convention and our service project is bagging food for the poor. 25 squires and 10 knights helped in the project at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. State circle dinner tonight with award ceremony. All told for our 2 hours of work at our food project we packed 55 boxes of food which will serve 1138 people. Good job squires!

Columbian Squires Circle 1480 organized an outing of Church of St. Raphael parishoners to Feed My Starving Children to package meals for needy children in Panama. More than 100 parishioners turned out for the event. They packed almost 18,800 meals, feeding 51 kids for a year.

Duluth Colombian Squires from Eugene Boman Circle 5771 participated with McGolrick Assembly and 4th degree members from all over Minnesota to celebrate with Bishop Sirba in the 125th anniversary of the Diocese of Duluth. Our fantastic bishop led the 4 mile Eucharistic procession from the cathedral to the DECC where the bishop celebrated Mass with pilgrims from all over the diocese.
