What a special and emotional Mother’s Day at Second Story Church!

Today we had the incredible privilege of baptizing FIVE people — five stories of redemption, hope, and new life in Jesus. There were tears, cheers, hugs, and joy as we watched people publicly declare their faith.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Today reminded us that God is still changing lives. Its such a gift it was to witness it together.

Today, we celebrate Mother’s Day by honoring the women who come in all shapes, sizes, and roles. Whether she is the mom who gave you birth, the "Bonus Mom" who stepped in, the Grandma who gives the best hugs, or the mentor who prays you through every storm—we see you and we thank God for you!

Motherhood isn't just about biology; it’s about the heart. It’s about the women who choose to lead, nurture, and love the next generation with everything they’ve got. To every woman filling a mothering role today: you are a reflection of God’s kindness.

What a beautiful morning of transformation at our Reflect event! ✨ Today was more than just a brunch; it was a powerful reminder that our "inner beauty" and God-given identity are meant to shine together.

Hearing the stories of transition and triumph through Living Grace Ministries reminded us that God is the ultimate Author of every second story. Seeing our sisters walk the runway with such confidence and joy was a highlight we won’t soon forget! 👗✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the beauty of transformation. Remember: your story isn’t over, it’s just getting started. 📖🤍

As we transition into Spring and Summer, Second Story has decided to move our Midweek Bible study into the home! We want this time to be a place of community, connection and deeper relationships while studying the Bible! Please register by May 3rd!

** 6-6:30PM Join for a community meal
** 6:30-7:30PM Bible Study (topic to be determined)
** Location 1: Shoreview, MN (address to be given upon registration).
** Kids are welcome! There is an area for kids to play and we are looking into finding childcare. We are also looking for additional hosts!
