Every week, The Salvation Army Northern Division helps feed thousands of people across Minnesota and North Dakota through our food shelf and hot meal programs.

We believe no one should have to wonder where their next meal will come from.

We serve our neighbors because Jesus has called us to care for those in need.

Help us continue to serve by dropping off nonperishable foods at your local food pantry or by giving a donation at SalvationArmyNorth.org

There’s something admirable about the World Cup ⚽. How is it that one game has the power to bring thousands of people together, cheering with one voice? šŸ“£

Giving creates the same sense of unity, as one act of kindness impacts an entire community and lifts up neighbors in need, regardless of their language or background. That’s something worth cheering!

You can support the mission here at The St. Paul Citadel Worship & Service Center and give in the way that feels right to you.

Thanks to our supporters, The Salvation Army Northern Division is able to help people in Minnesota and North Dakota who face challenges large and small … even as small as securing a birthday cake.

Such was the case when a single mother came to one of our food shelves. She appeared to be very sad, and when our food shelf worker asked her why, the mother explained that she couldn’t afford to buy a cake for her daughter’s birthday today.

After hearing this news, the worker headed to a back room and dug through a pallet of donations received that morning from a local grocery store. The worker then discovered a big, beautiful birthday cake with the theme, ā€œHappy Birthday, Princess!ā€

The worker gave the cake to the mother and she was overwhelmed with joy and happiness. She couldn’t wait to go home and celebrate with her daughter.

Have you ever wondered: What is Christianity truly about?

Christians believe we are part of something much greater than ourselves—a movement rooted in God's love, guided by Jesus' teachings, and strengthened by faith.

It’s about learning to listen deeply, to pray earnestly, and to sense where God’s heart is leading us. Then, it’s about opening our lives to that calling and acting with love and compassion.

That’s why, as a church, we don’t just want to talk about love—we want to demonstrate it by serving others and welcoming everyone with open hearts, regardless of background.

Join us today at 11:00 AM for Worship. Come just as you are. Major Judy will be sharing about finding rest and renewal for the soul.

Try this: Find a quiet spot today and take a moment to switch off. In the stillness you may find peace, clarity – even God’s presence.
