Sundays at 9am in the Fireside Room and on Zoom. A series for everyone who is curious about what is happening in church when we celebrate Holy Communion. Especially if you’re new to the Episcopal Church, many parts of the tradition can seem unfamiliar and even opaque. Why do we do it every Sunday? What are the parts of the Eucharistic liturgy and what do they mean? How have the theology and language (such as gendered terms for God) changed from the first Book of Common Prayer through today? Bring all your questions and curiosities! Led by the Rev. Dr. Dan Handschy.
