🔆Just 2 days until camp!

Our Morning Speakers are Pastor Kirby and Miwa! What a journey they are on and we are blessed to have them teach and share the word of God all week.

🔆Kirby Sato is a missionary with AGWM with a passion to see revival in Japan. Raised in Tokyo, he became a first-generation Christian through a street outreach and later served over 12 years as a young adult pastor in a church planting movement that launched nearly 20 campuses across Asia. He also contributed to the Japanese Old Testament translation on the YouVersion Bible app.

Most recently, Kirby pastored young adults across 11 campuses at River Valley Church in Minnesota and was the associate campus pastor for River Valley- downtown Minneapolis campus. Now, he and his wife Miwa, with their three children, are returning to Tokyo to plant a life-giving church and launch a Gospel-centered coffee shop to reach the lost and build community.

🔆Miwa Sato was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. She felt called to be a missionary to Japan when she was 8 years old. After graduating North Central University, she packed her bags and moved to Tokyo by herself, where she got involved in a church planting movement in Tokyo. She got married to Kirby a year after he came to church and got saved. Now they have three boys. While she was involved in women’s ministry and young adult ministry all throughout her ministry in Japan, she is most recently serving at River Valley Church in Minnesota. Now her family is getting ready to move to Tokyo to plant a life-giving church and launch a Gospel-centered coffee shop to reach the lost and build community.

We are excited to have our evening speaker Pastor Armando Toledo Jr!

Pastor Armando Toledo Jr. became a Christian at age 14, fell away a few years later, only to rededicate his life to the Lord in 1992, when he joined a city mission called Christian Outreach Appeal that was later purchased by The Los Angeles Mission in 1994. For three years Pastor Armando was a Chaplain for The Los Angeles Mission, ministering to men in recovery and the homeless on Skid Row. In 1997, The Los Angeles Mission expanded to St. Petersburg and Tampa, Florida among other cities throughout the United States. Pastor Armando followed God’s calling to move to Tampa, Florida to establish an inner city mission called Tampa Bay City Mission; and in February 1998, Pastor Armando was ordained as a licensed Pastor by The Los Angeles Mission. Since then, Pastor Armano has served in various roles in different churches.

For the last 5 years, he has been Co-Pastor at Word of Life Church in Wichita, Kansas, where he enjoys spending time with his family, playing drums on the worship team, and serving in numerous ministries such as Food Pantry, Community Meals, Vacation Bible School, Pullup for Prayer, and Deliverance.

What a word he has for us!
