🌍 Terra Divina = Divine Earth🕊️

Join us for an afternoon of walking prayer. Together, we will share in the beauty of creation and encounter God within nature.

As a group, we’ll pause at guided reflection stations that weave together Scripture, Benedictine spirituality, insights from ecology, periods of sacred silence, and thoughtful questions for prayer.

You don't need any hiking experience—just a desire to walk alongside others on a shared spiritual journey.

We will return to the Monastery chapel afterward to join our voices and hearts in prayer, followed by an evening meal with the Sisters.

We continue in our novena prayer for Bishop Kevin Kenney. The Churches of St. Michael and St. Mary in Stillwater have organized a novena to St. Anthony Mary Claret, and we invite our community to join them in prayer.
May Bishop Kenney be surrounded by God’s healing presence, strengthened by the prayers of so many, and held in hope throughout his journey. St. Anthony Mary Claret, pray for Bishop Kenney.

Novena for Bishop Kenney - beginning August 30 - Please join other parishioners in praying a novena to St. Anthony Mary Claret for the healing of Bishop Kenney. In 1849 he founded the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary - the Claretians. Bishop Kenney was ordained at the Claretian Seminary before transferring to the Diocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. The novena will start on August 30 and end on September 8. Sister Linda had a great time riding along with State Trooper Eric! She gets to work with different departments to learn more about how each area runs. Eric made her experience really special. While they were there, they even went to Annunciation School, since both of them are involved in different ways. After that, Eric showed Sister Linda around the encampments, where there were a few warnings and tickets given out, and there were a couple of traffic accidents to report. State Trooper is out to assist citizens in every capacity.

🌍 Terra Divina = “Divine Earth”🕊️

We invite you to join the Monastery community as we walk the trails of the Priory Preserve (located one block from the Monastery).

We will walk together, allowing the landscape itself to become our teacher. No hiking experience necessary!

Just as Lectio Divina invites us to prayerfully read Scripture and Visio Divina teaches us to contemplate sacred images, Terra Divina invites us to encounter God through the beauty, wisdom, and wonder of the natural world.

On Saturday, September 26, encounter God through creation, extending the contemplative spirit of Lectio Divina and Visio Divina into the natural world.

We will return to the Monastery at 4:45 to participate in prayer and then join the Sisters for the evening meal.
