The history of Deeper Life Bible Church worldwide is very much the personal story of Dr W.F. Kumuyi, the founder and General Superintendent of the Church. Under Senior Pastor Kumuyi, DLBC became the 3rd largest single congregation in the world. Dr Kumuyi is a gifted man, clear-thinking and humble. He is a dedicated Christian and deserves the title ‘the man of God.'

This refreshing angle to presenting the gospel draws people to the church and to Pastor Kumuyi wherever he preaches. The messages are clear, simple, direct and practical. In the church, street traders who can barely read sit next to university professors, all equally captivated by the way Scripture becomes suddenly relevant to them. Dr. Akin J. Adeniyi oversees the US Central Region2 comprising of Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan. He also doubles as the Senior Pastor of the St Paul, Minnesota Regional headquarters church.
