Churches are often well equipped to recruit, measure, and multiply leaders, but far fewer have built systems to truly care for them. When success is defined strictly by output and numbers, even growing ministries can mask exhausted, spiritually dry, and isolated leaders. Together we will explore how church leaders can move past reactive crisis management and instead construct a proactive organizational culture where leaders remain healthy, rooted, and faithful for the long haul.

Our first Life Together Day in Hanover, PA was everything we hoped for and more.

A day filled with learning, growth, connection, encouragement, and the unmistakable presence of the Holy Spirit. We’re grateful for every leader who joined us and excited for what God continues to do as we walk this journey together.

CHILL TIME TIPS FOR LEADERS!

Not every act of renewal has to look like a conference, a sabbatical, or a 5 a.m. devotional. Sometimes renewal looks like laughter, rest, margin, beauty, friendship, silence… or simply remembering you’re human.

Here are a few summer ideas for pastors and ministry leaders who want to refill their cup this season:

💡Take a prayer walk somewhere you’ve never walked before.

💡Watch a sunset...without taking a picture of it.

💡Read a book that has nothing to do with leadership.

💡Invite another pastor out for ice cream instead of coffee.

💡Spend one whole evening outside with your phone left inside.

💡Ask the Holy Spirit one simple question: “What do You want to restore in me this summer?”

💡Visit a different church while on vacation and receive instead of lead.

💡Go to a farmers market slowly. No agenda. No rushing.

💡Make a summer playlist filled with songs that help your soul breathe.

💡Sit by water and practice silence for 20 minutes.

💡Have a campfire conversation that goes deeper than ministry updates.

💡Take a spontaneous day off if your schedule allows it—and resist the urge to “make it productive.”

💡Revisit a place where God met you powerfully in a previous season.

💡Laugh hard with people who know the real you, not just the “pastor you.”

💡Pray this dangerous little prayer: “Lord, remind me who I am apart from what I do.”

Healthy churches begin with healthy leaders. And healthy leaders don’t just pour out—they learn how to receive again too.

Together, we'll seek a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and create space for renewal, formation, and encounter!

This conference is designed to equip leaders who are hungry to move with the Spirit and guide their communities into deeper life with God.

Through teaching, worship, and shared rhythms, you will be encouraged and resourced to cultivate both the fire of the Spirit and the grounding of the table in your own ministry context.

They worshipped. And then worshipped some more!

About 115 Local leaders got lost in praise this morning as they gathered to care for one another and get encouraged.

Ryan and Jenn Alexander had the room laughing and crying as they got vulnerable about looking for “cracks in the foundation” that can lead us crumbling into burnout. Totally hit home for, like…everyone!

Lots of love in this room and each leader was personally prayed-up before walking out the door!

This is what “Life Together” is all about. ♥️

Ministry moving at an unsustainable pace?
Having trouble mustering motivation?
Worried about depletion?

Every leader is aware of, and at some level desires to avoid the exhaustion, tension, resentment, flatness or even moral compromise that often accompany burnout.

We may wisely commit to doubling down on work-life balance, weekly sabbath, or even sabbatical, yet still find ourselves experiencing waves of discouragement, self doubt and overwhelm.
Those symptoms can really only be abated by identifying and addressing the weak points, or hairline fractures, in the primary bricks of our personal foundations.

Only then can our finite bodies and souls bear the weight of life and leadership, allowing us to avoid burnout and finish the race with joy and strength.
