Our ministry jerseys finally came in this week, and today we got to wear them together, carrying the reminder from our theme of the year, 1 John 1:7, to walk in the light as He is in the light. ✝️✨ Today, and every day we strive to live in obedience to God, practicing truth, and remaining in fellowship with Him and with one another.

Have a great weekend everyone!!! 🦋🌿

HE IS RISEN!!! DEATH IS DEFEATED!!! What once held grief now overflows with joy, Christ has conquered the grave. The cross was not the end, but the victory won for us. Today we rejoice in a Savior who lives, who restores, who makes all things new. Alleluia!!! Happy Easter!!! 🐣🌿🌸🕊️💗

Today, silence settles between promise and fulfillment. The cross stands still, the tomb is sealed, and heaven seems quiet. In the stillness, He is at work in what we cannot see. We trust that the story is not over. ✞

A campus of countless crosses—today, their weight is impossible to ignore. The wood and nails echo a story that is simultaneously distant and near: Christ crucified. The perfect Son, lifted up as the propitiation for our sins, bearing what we could not.
✞ ✞ ✞
In the shadow of the cross, we see both the depth of our brokenness and the greater depth of His mercy. This is not the end, but it is the cost. Every cross now becomes a witness: love poured out to the very end.

This Maundy Thursday, we remember a love that humbles itself—one that knows every part of our wandering hearts and never turns away. In an upper room, bread is broken, and the cup is shared. The very hands that formed the world kneel to wash dust from sinful feet. Even here, betrayal lingers at the table, a shadow among the light. Yet, grace does not disappear. It stays. It serves. It gives. ✝️💗

Happy Palm MONDAY :) Today in chapel, we celebrated the joyous celebration of Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Hosanna, Loud Hosanna!!! 💗🌿

We have also been singing a new song called “Come Save Me” by CSP Alum, Noah Gundermann, Heather Choate Davis, and Zoe Ker with The Songwriter Initiative through the Center for Worship Leadership. This new worship music video was filmed in our very own chapel in February. While this song wasn’t written at CSP (it was written at a songwriter event at CUI last year), it features our chapel and CSP students in the music video.

The point of the song is to bring people into the story of Palm Sunday to experience it themselves, as it points us to the cross and empty tomb. It’s not often we get to see a music video featuring CSP students, so we encourage you to congratulate these students for being bold, willing, and creative as you have a chance. We pray, “Come Save Me,” blesses you this Holy Week! ✝️🌿✨

Today, Ash Wednesday, marks the beginning of the season of Lent. We hear again the words spoken over humanity since the fall: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return” (Genesis 3:19). In these words, we are humbled. We are reminded of our fragility, our need, and the mercy of a God who does not abandon His creation ✞

Lent brings us into a time of repentance, reflection, and self-examination. It is a beautiful journey toward the cross, where we confront both the weight of our sin and the depth of Christ’s love. The ashes traced upon our foreheads are a quiet confession: we are human and we are dependent, yet we are also marked by hope as we await the radiant joy of Easter morning.

Come as you are to chapel this morning at 11 AM to receive the sign of ashes upon your forehead. Come in humility. Come in need. Come trusting the One who entered our dust and, through His death and resurrection, makes all things new.
