Healing can feel deeply personal - but isolation often makes healing harder, not easier.

Safe community creates space for honesty, perspective, accountability, encouragement, and support when growth feels difficult or slow.

Not performative vulnerability.
Not pressure to share everything.
Just healthy connection that reminds people they are not alone in what they are carrying.

At Grief to Grace Minnesota, we believe healing work is strengthened through intentional support and safe relationships that help people continue moving forward.

One of the most meaningful parts of retreat is hearing how participants continue their healing journey long after retreat week ends.

This reflection comes from a participant who arrived feeling beyond repair and left with a renewed sense of hope and a willingness to continue the work ahead.

Healing rarely happens all at once. It often begins with honesty, support, and the courage to take the next step.

We are grateful to witness the ways God continues to bring hope, restoration, and new life through this ministry.

"Indeed, I am hopeful, and I am propelled by that hope to do the work and to be open to God's plans for restoration."

A retreat experience is shaped long before anyone walks through the doors.

There are conversations, planning meetings, materials, preparation, prayer, and countless quiet details that help create a safe and intentional environment for participants.

Healing work is rarely rushed.
And preparation matters.

We are grateful for every person who helps make this work possible behind the scenes.

Healing is rarely loud or dramatic.
More often, it looks like small decisions repeated over time - slowing down, becoming honest, asking for support, learning healthier patterns, and continuing the work even when growth feels gradual.

Healing is not pretending the past never happened.
And it is not staying stuck there forever either.

It’s a process of learning how to move forward with greater clarity, stability, and freedom.

At Grief to Grace Minnesota, we believe healing work is intentional, supported, and deeply human.

Healing does not always look like pushing harder.
Sometimes it looks like slowing down long enough to acknowledge exhaustion, grief, stress, or the weight we’ve been carrying for too long.

In a culture that constantly tells us to keep moving, Scripture offers a different invitation: rest, honesty, and renewal.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28

This season, may you remember that rest is not weakness - and it is not avoidance. Sometimes it is the beginning of restoration.

Grief to Grace MN retreats continue because individuals, churches, and community partners continue to support the work.

Every contribution helps sustain a process that is intentionally designed, carefully facilitated, and made accessible to those participating.

We are grateful for every person who plays a role in making this work possible.

The retreat experience is designed to be active, structured, and intentionally facilitated from beginning to end.

Participation includes guided exercises, reflection, group interaction, and individual engagement throughout the process.

Preparation begins before arrival, and continued support and follow-through after the retreat are encouraged as part of ongoing work.

Today, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for their sacrifice and recognize the families, friends, and communities who continue to carry both remembrance and loss.

As we pause this Memorial Day, we thank God for the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave so much for others.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” - John 15:13

Each Grief to Grace retreat is intentionally limited to approximately 15 participants.

This allows for appropriate facilitator support and a more consistent, manageable process throughout the experience.

Maintaining this size is a key part of how the work is designed.

Donor support makes it possible to continue offering this level of care.
