On January 31 there were 23 women from 9 congregations gathered for “A Day for Making Comfort” at Our Savior’s in Stillwater. Twenty quilts were completed to be given where needed locally and internationally.

A Day for Making Comfort

CHANGE OF DATE DUE TO EXTREME COLD WEATHER

Stillwater, MN

It is going to be very cold this Saturday for A Day for Making Comfort, so we are going to move the event to the following Saturday, January 31.

Hopefully this change will still work for everyone who was planning to be there and allow others to join in.

"A Day for Making Comfort" is when women from around the Saint Paul Area Synod go to Our Savior’s in Stillwater (1616 W Olive) and spend the day tying quilts that are given both locally and around the world.

The time is from 9 am to 3 pm but you can come for an hour or the whole day or whatever amount of time fits in your schedule.

No experience is needed for this as it's something that anyone can do. It's a great chance to mingle with others!

Bring your own lunch if you will be here over the lunch hour.

If you are a sewer, bring your machine and if you have a favorite needle and scissor, bring those. If not, we will have all the supplies.
