USIANGALIE MJUMBE, SIKILIZA UJUMBE.

Mathayo 3:1–12

Yohana Mbatizaji alikuwa mtu wa kawaida. Aliishi jangwani, alivaa mavazi rahisi na kula chakula cha porini. Lakini Mungu alimchagua kuwa mtangulizi wa Yesu. Mathayo anatupa maelezo haya kutuonyesha kwamba Mungu hutumia hata watu wasio na hadhi kubwa kuleta ujumbe muhimu.

Kwa hiyo tusikazie macho cheo cha mtu, muonekano wake au umaarufu wake.
Kinachotakiwa ni kusikia kile Mungu anasema:
“Tubuni na jiandae kwa ujio wa Bwana.”

Katika dunia iliyojaa kelele na usumbufu, Majilio yanatukumbusha kutulia na kuisikiliza sauti ya Mungu, hata ikija kupitia mtu wa kawaida kabisa.

Ee Mungu, tusaidie kuwa wanyenyekevu na wasikivu kutambua ujumbe wako katika dunia hii iliyo na kelele nyingi. Amen

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Today, as I celebrate the gift of life, my heart is filled with deep gratitude to God. I thank Him for the journey He has given me, for the people He has placed along my path, and for the opportunities to bring light and positive change to others. This day reminds me to ask myself: What is my life worth if it does not add value or hope to the world around me?

I am also aware that I still carry a responsibility to serve faithfully with the gifts, knowledge, and experiences God has entrusted to me. My prayer is to continue growing into the person God calls me to be, especially in places where healing, justice, and compassion are needed. As I step into a new year, I do so with hope that God is still shaping me, opening new doors, and guiding me into His purpose.

World Council of Churches (WCC) general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay expressed deep concern and sorrow over post-election violence and the use of lethal force in : “The WCC joins the Tanzanian churches and the wider ecumenical family in mourning the lives lost and condemning the use of lethal force against citizens exercising their legitimate rights to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression.”
