Daily Devotional: Get Back Up
Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)
“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

Thought for Today
Falling is not the end of your story.
There will be days when you stumble, make a mistake, become discouraged, or feel like you have failed God and yourself. But Proverbs 24:16 reminds us that the righteous person is not defined by how many times they fall, but by their willingness to get back up.
Notice the Bible does not say the righteous never fall. It says they rise again.
You may have fallen seven times, but God is still giving you strength to stand up on the eighth. Your setback does not cancel God's purpose. Your mistake does not erase His grace. Your difficult season does not mean God has abandoned you.
Peter denied Jesus, but Jesus restored Peter.
David sinned, but God gave him a heart of repentance.
Jonah ran from God, but God gave him another assignment.
Grace gives you the courage to get back up.
Don't spend today rehearsing yesterday's failures. Learn from them, pray over them, receive God's forgiveness, and keep moving forward.
Remember
You may fall down, but with God's help, you don't have to stay down.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace and mercy. When I fall, give me the strength to rise again. Help me not to be defeated by my mistakes or discouraged by my failures. Remind me that You are not finished with me yet. Give me courage to get back up, keep moving, and continue walking in Your purpose. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today's encouragement:
“I may have fallen, but I’m getting back up!”

Daily Devotional: “Don’t Let Them Steal Your Joy”

Scripture:
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

Sometimes we give people, problems, and circumstances permission to steal something God never asked them to have—our joy.
You can have a difficult day and still have joy. You can be disappointed and still have joy. You can be misunderstood, criticized, or even mistreated and still choose joy.
The enemy wants you focused on what went wrong so you forget about everything God has already done right.
Your joy is not based on whether everybody treats you fairly. Your joy is not based on having a perfect day. Your joy is rooted in the Lord.
Jesus said, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full” (John 15:11).
So today, guard your joy.
Don't let somebody else's attitude become your attitude.
Don't let yesterday's disappointment ruin today's opportunity.
Don't let what you cannot change rob you of what God has given you.
You don't have to fight every battle. You don't have to answer every accusation. You don't have to carry every burden.
Give it to God and keep walking.

Prayer
Lord, help me guard the joy You have placed within me. When people disappoint me, when circumstances frustrate me, and when life doesn't go the way I expected, remind me that my joy comes from You. Give me the strength to release what I cannot control and the wisdom to focus on what You are doing in my life. Today, I choose joy. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s reminder:
“What happened to me may have affected my day, but it does not have to control my joy.”

What a great time we had in the Lord! Thank you to Bro. Ryan Shirer for the meal, a huge thank you to Pastor George Moor...

Spiritual Thought for the Day

“God Is Still Working”

Sometimes we look at our circumstances and wonder, “God, where are You?” But just because you cannot see God moving does not mean God is not working.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us:
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.”
God is working behind the scenes, in the waiting, and even in the moments that don't make sense. What feels like a delay may be God's preparation. What feels like a closed door may be His protection.
So today, don't give up because you cannot see the answer yet. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep believing.
Your situation may be changing even while you are waiting on God.

Prayer:
Lord, help me trust You when I cannot see what You are doing. Give me strength to wait, faith to believe, and peace to know that You are still working. Amen.

Spiritual Thought for Today
“God Will Make a Way”

Isaiah 43:19 — “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”

There are moments in life when it seems like every door is closed and every path has come to an end. But God specializes in making ways where there appears to be no way.
What looks like an ending to you may simply be the beginning of something new that God is preparing.
Don't let yesterday's disappointment rob you of today's faith. Don't allow what you cannot change to keep you from trusting the One who can change everything.
Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep walking.
God is already working behind the scenes. You may not see the road yet, but when God says, “Go,” He will provide the way.

Prayer:
“Lord, help me trust You when I cannot see the way ahead. Give me faith to believe that You are working even when circumstances look impossible. Lead me, guide me, and help me walk confidently in the path You have prepared. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Today’s thought:
“When I cannot see a way, I will trust the God who makes a way.”

“God Is Still Working”
Scripture: Philippians 1:6

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
There are days when we look at our lives and only see what is unfinished. We see the prayers that have not yet been answered, the struggles that have not yet ended, and the areas where we still need to grow. But God does not see us as a finished product—He sees us as a work in progress.
The same God who started the work in you is faithful enough to complete it. A carpenter does not throw away a piece of wood because it still needs shaping. A painter does not abandon a canvas because the picture is not finished. In the same way, God continues to shape, strengthen, and transform us according to His purpose.
Today, trust the process. Your delays are not God’s denial. Your struggles are not proof that God has left you. He is working in ways you cannot always see.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being patient with me and continuing Your work in my life. Help me trust Your timing, surrender my worries, and remember that You are not finished with me yet. Amen.

Thought for Today:
“God is still writing my story; the chapter I am in is not the end.”

"God's Grace Is Enough"
"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

Life has a way of reminding us that we are not as strong as we think we are. We face disappointments, burdens, and seasons that leave us feeling empty. Yet God never asks us to carry those burdens alone. Instead, He promises that His grace is enough.
When your strength runs out, God's strength is just beginning. What feels like a limitation to you becomes an opportunity for Him to reveal His power. Don't measure God's ability by your weakness. Measure your weakness by God's unlimited power.
Today, walk in confidence, knowing that whatever you face, God's grace will meet you there. He is faithful, He is present, and He will sustain you every step of the way.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing grace. When I feel weak, remind me that Your strength is more than enough. Help me to trust You today and to rest in Your unfailing promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.

"Keep Your Eyes on Jesus"
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..." — Hebrews 12:2

Life has a way of distracting us. We can become consumed with problems, deadlines, disappointments, and uncertainty. But the writer of Hebrews reminds us that victory comes when our focus stays on Christ.
Peter walked on water as long as his eyes were on Jesus. When he focused on the wind and the waves, he began to sink. The same is true for us. Circumstances may change, but Jesus never does.

Whatever you're facing today, don't let your problems become bigger than your Savior. The One who began a good work in you is faithful to finish it. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep moving forward by faith.

Prayer: Lord, help me to keep my eyes fixed on You today. When distractions and difficulties arise, remind me that You are greater than every challenge I face. Strengthen my faith, guide my steps, and let my life bring You glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
