Congaree Baptist Church Congaree Baptist is a church located outside of St Matthews SC, that loves the Lord and all people. Come visit and see what God is doing!

Our goal is to revive this generation and reach the next with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and see people saved. We are a country church with a vision for the lost and to see this generation get on fire for God and work till Jesus comes back. Come and see what God is doing through our congregation.

Love is more than a feeling—it is a choice that reflects the heart of God. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians that love is patient, kind, and enduring. Real love shows up when it is difficult to forgive, when someone disappoints us, or when serving others costs us something.
Jesus demonstrated perfect love at the cross. Even while humanity was broken in sin, He willingly gave His life so we could have hope and salvation. His love was not based on what we deserved, but on who He is.
Today, ask God to help you love others the way He loves you—with grace, compassion, and truth. A kind word, a forgiving spirit, or a simple act of encouragement can reveal the love of Christ to someone who desperately needs it.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to love the way You love me. Help me to show patience, kindness, and grace in every relationship today. Let Your love shine through my words and actions. Amen.

Patience is hard when the waiting feels endless, the people around us are difficult, or the pain refuses to leave quickly. Yet one of the beautiful fruits of the Spirit is long-suffering — the God-given strength to endure with grace.
Galatians 5:22 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering...” Long-suffering is more than simply “putting up” with life. It is a steady spirit that refuses to quit, grow bitter, or stop loving when things become difficult.
God Himself shows us this kind of patience every day. He is patient with our failures, our doubts, and our slow growth. Because He has been long-suffering toward us, we can extend that same grace to others.
Sometimes God uses delays to deepen our faith. Sometimes He uses difficult people to shape our character. Sometimes He allows trials to teach us endurance we could never learn any other way.
If you are weary today, remember this: long-suffering does not mean God has forgotten you. It means He is still working in you.
Don’t give up in the middle of the process. The same God who is keeping you will also strengthen you.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to endure with grace. When I grow tired, give me strength. When I become frustrated, fill me with patience. Teach me to trust Your timing and reflect Your love even in difficult seasons. Amen.

Peace is not the absence of trouble. Peace is the presence of God in the middle of trouble.
Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you.” The world offers temporary calm when circumstances improve, but Christ offers a deep peace that remains even when life feels uncertain.
There are days when your mind races, your heart feels heavy, and the future seems unclear. In those moments, remember this: God is not pacing Heaven in anxiety. He is still sovereign, still faithful, and still near to His children.
Sometimes peace comes instantly. Other times it comes quietly, one prayer at a time, one scripture at a time, one surrendered burden at a time. But God promises that when we bring our cares to Him, His peace will guard our hearts and minds.

Today, slow down long enough to breathe in the goodness of God. You do not have to carry tomorrow before it arrives. The Lord is already there.
Prayer:
Father, calm my anxious heart today. Help me trust You with what I cannot control. Fill my mind with Your promises and my soul with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
